This is seen strongly in Pokemon, as many people would set up with something that raises a stat to deal more damage or to heal first. Most turn based combat strategies flow like that: set up, then attack. ![]() It lets toons who are weak to be healed right away and it lets cogs be set up for upcoming attacks. This order is as follows: Toon-up, Trap, Lure, Sound, Throw, Squirt, and Drop. There are 7 different gags a toon can select from, with each gag coming out in a set order. To get back on track, I want to talk about the specific gags. If they were, then that would be something serious. While this already gives the toons a gigantic advantage, it's sort of fine since the cogs are never controlled by the player. They can't stun the toons, heal themselves, or afflict any condition. The cogs only have one action, and that is to attack. The Toons always go first using their gags to either attack, stun, or heal (placing a trap is also an option, but I consider that a form of a regular attack). Are you still with me? Yeah? While it still is a buggy game mechanically, it's still trying to rebuild and repair itself to what TTO was when it closed down.
